Knowledge is power.
The Breaking the Silence for Women book drive was launched in 2019 to purchase and provide powerful books about the truths of domestic abuse — and related healing, empowering topics — to local churches, women’s centers, school libraries, and individual survivors who seek validation, understanding, and guidance.
Titles of consideration include:
Why Does He Do That? Inside the Minds of Angry and Controlling Men (pictured at right, with recipient Amanda from MN)
Psychopath Free: Recovering from Emotionally Abusive Relationships with Narcissists, Sociopaths, and Toxic People
Unmasking Narcissism: A Guide to Understanding the Narcissist in Your Life
Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life
No Visible Bruises: What We Don’t Know About Domestic Violence Can Kill Us
